All levels from beginner to intermediate
Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is based on the practice of vinyasa: breath and movement are the main key and focus. The asanas are predefined as to movement, and movement and breath are rigorously synchronized.
In addition to this, the pillars of this type of Yoga are the Ujjayi breath, the energy seals or closures known as bandhas (muscle contractions) and the drishti, which is the focus of the gaze. These are the foundations from which we work and build concentration and increase our energy.
Instructor: Nerea
Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is one of the most practiced yoga styles in the world because all styles develop from it. Hatha Yoga can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age or physical condition.
Hatha Yoga classes integrate asanas or physical postures, pranayamas or breathing exercises, as well as meditation and relaxation
Instructor: Basia, Louise

Heartflow Yoga
Heartflow Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga like exercise, incorporating the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas that are performed for longer periods of time.
For beginners, the asanas can be held from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners can stay in an asana for five minutes or more.
Suitable for all levels
Instructor: Louise Loving
Therapeutic yoga
Therapeutic Yoga is based on the deep knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body which allows the teacher to adapt the practice according to the biomechanical and pathological characteristics of the practitioner in order to balance their physique in an individualized way.
Classes can be gentler and less demanding than a public Hatha Yoga class and there may be more emphasis on the practice of relaxation, meditation, and visualization (relaxation itself is already known to be therapeutic).
Special relevance is given to body alignment in yoga postures and there may be greater use of supports (such as blankets, chairs, belts or even the wall if needed).
Instructor: Cristiana

Iyengar Yoga
Iyengar yoga has a high degree of attention to alignment. Props are used to increase awareness and to make the poses accessible. Sometimes, poses are held longer than students might be used to in a flow-style class.
Iyengar Yoga challenges your mind and body as you hold each pose for an extended period so you can adjust your body to the correct alignment.
Instructor: Gayane
Restorative Yoga & Meditation
Give your body a break and a chance to restore and rewind. The body is amazing and if we give it a chance it will restore itself. In restorative yoga we will do less positions or asanas, and stay longer in each one in order to relax the nervous system and the body. It is a bit like Yin Yoga but the challenge here is to let go and rest in the. position rather than challenge you self. A different type of challenge.
In meditation classes we look inward and discover our true self through control of our breath and our thoughts.
Instructor: Basia

Kundalini
The practice is designed to awaken the energy at the base of the spine, known as the Kundalini, in order to draw it upward through each of the seven chakras. This can have an uplifting, energizing effect which many people find fruitful.
Yogi Bhajan, an Indian-born American, founded Kundalini Yoga in the 70s in California; it is made up of kriyas, or repeated movements, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and chanting of mantras.
Instructor: David
Vinyasa Yoga
The term “Vinyasa” means to place in a special way, following the breath; movement in a Vinyasa class flows as we move from one pose to another, harmonizing the breath and the movement. As in Hatha Yoga classes we begin with some pranayama or breathing exercises as a way to connect with ourselves and leave our everyday cares behind. Shavasana- final relaxation- is the last pose.
Instructors: Basia or Cristiana

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a type of yoga designed specifically to release and relax the fascia and is based on the Chinese teachings of meridians and/or the Indian nadis. Poses are held for three to five minutes as, with the support of props, you relax and allow your whole body to soften: the connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, fascia are hydrated and space is created in your body, giving you mobility, flexibility and health. As you relax in these poses, Basia Akalpita or Louise guides your breath and your thoughts into deeper states of relaxation.
Instructors: Basia or Louise
